The Senior Advisory Consultant - Payer Technology is a strategic and creative role that blends consulting expertise with marketing execution to drive business growth. This role is central to advancing our payer technology practice through data-driven campaigns, compelling content, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with enterprise buyers.

You'll work alongside experts in healthcare, AI, and technology to deliver transformation for payers and health plans. Your contributions will accelerate our sales funnel, strengthen brand presence, and elevate storytelling across all channels.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payer Technology team to ensure superior operational delivery for product initiatives
  • Represent Payer Technology capabilities through RFP responses
  • Partner with Payer Technology pillar leaders to ensure that teams have the resources they need to succeed and grow
  • Partner with sales teams initiate and support opportunity pursuits
  • Lead client communications for your workstream and guide junior team members
  • Additional consulting tasks may include providing regular status reporting, product roadmap updates, supporting the change management process, assisting with annual planning, and other responsibilities as assigned
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and sales teams to ensure integrated marketing
  • Contribute to practice development projects, process improvements, and knowledge management
  • Drive strategic problem-solving and contribute to actionable recommendations
  • Plan, execute, and optimize B2B digital marketing campaigns across owned media channels, ensuring that all campaigns consistently meet brand standards, drive awareness and promote education of Payer Technology capabilities
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other automation tools for campaign execution, personalization and analytics
  • Develop impactful content across formats-social media, whitepapers, case studies, brochures, e-books, pitch decks, and thought leadership. Utilize design thinking and visual storytelling for branded PowerPoint templates and graphics
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders

equired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of healthcare experience preferably in payer focus
  • 4+ years content development experience
  • 4+ years of client relationship and project management experience
  • 4+ years of experience expertise in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • 2+ years in Optum Advisory, Optum, or UHC
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Proven ability to apply brand standards, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy across all materials
  • Experience presenting to internal stakeholders, clients, and executives
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems creatively, and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing 10-15 concurrent tasks
  • Content development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and leading strategy projects
  • Experience creating thought leadership content and supporting product launches
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketo
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM, paid media campaigns, and social media strategy
  • Background in management consulting or payer advisory roles
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM, paid media campaigns, and social media strategy
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
