KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, AI & SaaS Pricing to join our Pricing & Commercial Enablement team.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the development and evolution of the firm's AI and SaaS product pricing strategy framework, grounded in external market best practices, competitor benchmarks, and emerging pricing models
  • Define clear pricing principles and decision frameworks for different product types (such as software, platforms, IP-enabled services, co-developed solutions)
  • Advise on pricing strategies through the product lifecycle (such as client experimentation, early adopters, general availability, expansion, sunset); direct product teams and leaders on how to consider costs of Research and Development, development, and maintenance and how that influences pricing strategy; advise product teams and leaders in Functions on pricing implications tied to growth, profitability and market positioning
  • Pricing experimentation and pilots; client feedback loops and willingness-to-pay testing (such as Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger, conjoint, discrete choice)
  • Structure testing during co-development with clients, including how to test pricing without compromising client relationships; assess test results and make clear, data-backed pricing recommendations to product teams and Functional business owners
  • Work closely with PCE leadership team, product leaders, function leaders and other stakeholders to align AI and SaaS pricing strategy with broader firmwide pricing strategy and firm objectives; influence without authority, bringing structure, clarity, and credibility to complex pricing discussions
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum twelve years of recent experience in pricing; minimum five years of recent experience in pricing for a technology or software company
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience operating in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders; deep expertise in product pricing models, market testing, and value-based pricing approaches
  • Background working directly with product teams and influencing pricing decisions during development and launch
  • Strong understanding of how to scale pricing decisions through tools, systems, and governance, not just frameworks
  • Proven ability to communicate complex pricing concepts clearly to senior leaders and non-pricing audiences

California Salary Range: $180000 - $357000
