What You Will Do:

Construction Manager II (State Roadway) for GFT Infrastructure, Inc. to work at our Richmond, VA loc. May telecommute 2 days/wk.

Conducts and documents roadway construction project meetings with clients. Responds to solicitations and prepares roadway construction proposals and presentations. Prepares roadway construction contracts and cost estimates. Performs roadway constructability reviews and value engineering studies. Directs roadway project changes to achieve consistency and constructability. Analyzes preliminary roadway construction plans and project documentation for client.

May be required to work in confined spaces.

Will undergo background checks incl drug screen and MV check.

Frequent regional travel (2-3 days/wk) to construction and meeting sites potentially exceeding 60 days/yr but less than 5 days/trip.

Education | Experience:
  • Must have Bach in Civil Engineering or engineering-related field and 10 yrs rel roadway construction engineering exp or Master's in Civil Engineering or engineering-related field and 7 yrs rel roadway construction engineering exp.
  • Reqs the following skills (3 yrs exp) in: engineering principles to interpret project plans and specs; Construction management software (AASHTOWare, PRECON; CNSP).
  • Also reqs driver's license, ACI Concrete Field Testing cert, VDOT Soils & Aggregate Compaction, and VDOT certs: Asphalt Field Level I & II.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $138,200 - $159,700. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
