As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy parking and vehicle access location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout ramps, entrances, and surrounding areas, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and reports, document activity, and communicate clearly with motorists, employees, and local responders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and tenants at an auto parking facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout parking levels, stairwells, entrances, pay stations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas, verify credentials when required, monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, and help to address parking disputes and/or rule violations in accordance with post orders.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in compliance with licensing requirements and Allied Universal policies, and complete detailed written reports and/or logs of patrols, incidents, and corrective actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
