Description

Planning and implementation of construction, real estate, and facilities related projects. These projects may include the new construction of banking and corporate facilities, renovation projects at current facilities, leased properties, management of occupied and vacant real estate owned property, along with the programming of undeveloped property.

Construction / Project Management: Oversight and management of numerous ongoing projects and their design, schedules, estimating, bidding, and pricing, with an extremely high level of detail and quality of work completion. Oversees the administration of outside contracts for architectural, engineering, space planning, and construction services. Performs regular on-site evaluations of construction in progress. Identifies and communicates substandard workmanship and/or scheduling issues to contractors for immediate resolution. Oversees field project scope and cost changes and ensures field changes are documented and approved as needed.

Post-Construction Duties: Manages post-construction duties including timely punch list completion and facilities / banking operations issue resolution. Ensures complete Project Close-Out package including As-Built Plans, equipment manuals, GC / Subcontractor / Vendor contact lists, vendor warranties, etc. are provided to appropriate facilities personnel. Manages one-year warranty inspections and punch list completion with facilities personnel, contractors, and banking operations. Additionally, the candidate must be hands-on, mechanically inclined, and capable of self-performing minor construction, repair, and finishing tasks as needed.

Existing Facilities Improvements & Initiatives: Works closely with other internal groups to develop and implement continued improvement initiatives for banking centers and corporate office spaces. Sources outside vendors to provide estimates, plans, and execution of projects. Involved in space planning, FF&E specifications, order placements, and installations. Works closely with the Facilities team in suggesting and reviewing specifications. Provides guidance to ensure aesthetic quality and integrity of all built spaces are maintained with facilities / maintenance projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partners with Project Managers, Facilities Staff, Retail Personal Banking, and other personnel such as Banking Center Managers, Corporate Technology, Security and other internal departments throughout construction or project phases to ensure timely and high quality end-product with as little disruption to regular operations as possible.



  • Experience in commercial (banking / retail) construction and site development is required.
  • Experience in commercial site entitlement / permitting is an added value.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to follow up and provide status updates clearly, concisely, and expediently.
  • Must maintain a professional-level appearance and communication style, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Experience in strategic planning and financial analysis within the realm of real estate development.
  • Ability to anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly, creatively, and effectively, and adapt swiftly to changing priorities in support of executive mandates and business unit objectives.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor degree in Construction Project Management or equivalent, or related field with minimum 5 years of commercial building experience.
  • Computer / Software proficiency with a smartphone and MS Outlook, E-Mail, Excel, Word, Project, Adobe Suite, and CAD.
  • Additional graphic software experience such as Adobe and Sketch-Up preferred.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be flexible to work extended hours (weekends and evenings).
  • Must have a high degree of creativity, organization and follow through.
  • Available for travel out of state for projects as needed.
  • Physically capable of operating vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 25 lbs. or more.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Compensation is aligned to experience, skills, and education. Benefits: The bank offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; and a 401(k) plan. Hours of paid leave may vary based on position.
