This Intern - Quality & Safety Business Operations will have the opportunity to learn about the self-assessment and peer review process that accredited radiological facilities go through. Learn how a widely recognized image accreditation process measures quality care and helps to improve, promote and protect the practices of radiology to ensure the quality and safety in patient care. In this role you will expand and strengthen soft skills such as problem-solving, verbal/ written communication, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:



  • Review submitted documents and check for accuracy
  • Work with member facilities to resolve financial matters
  • Assist with Freshdesk inquiries (learn a new program!)
  • Member/Customer service (mostly written communication)
  • Learn about other areas within Quality & Safety, outside of accreditation


Who you are:



  • Current college/university student


    • Enrolled full-time and carrying a 3.0+ GPA


  • Excellent communications (verbal and written) skills
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, creative and mature
  • Eager to learn, self-driven and take initiative


What to Expect



  • We will be conducting interviews beginning in March
  • Our intention is to extend an offer for this opportunity by mid-April
  • Interns will join the team on May 18th and conclude their experience on August 7th

Work Location: This position will be Remote. Viable candidates will reside in the Eastern Standard Time zone so as to maintain a routine schedule of our core office hours (8:30A - 5:00P). Qualified candidates must have reliable internet service, professional discipline and have excellent time management skills.

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy. ACR's goal is to pay competitively and equitably. Interns work a 32.5 hour work week, from 5/18/26 - 8/7/26, with every Friday afternoon off! Depending on class level, a reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00.
