The Finance Intern will support key financial planning and analysis activities and work closely with Analysts on the FP&A team. This role offers handson exposure to ACR's Finance operations and the chance to contribute to real initiatives that move our work forward. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.

You'll gain a solid understanding of how the Finance and Accounting departments operate as core support functions across the organization. This internship will provide a deep dive into the financial planning and analysis function at ACR. You will learn about financial management, forecasting, and budgeting, and work with tools such as Microsoft Excel, the Planful Analytics platform, and potentially Tableau for reporting and planning needs.

Responsibilities:



  • Actively participate in a high-performing FP&A department and collaborate with others on the team
  • Gaining experience with MS Excel, reporting tools such as Planful and Tableau, and a project management tool such as Smartsheet or Asana
  • Researching potential solutions for the replacement of our FP&A tool
  • Assisting with review and maintenance of the project and account hierarchy in Planful
  • Working alongside the Analysts on quarterly forecasting and modeling scenarios such as the 3 year long range plan (LRP)
  • Running report collections and data entry/review as needed
  • Working with the team to understand procedures and documenting/updating procedures


Qualifications:



  • Be a current college student (Accounting, Finance, General Business majors preferred)
  • Enrolled full time and holding a GPA of 3.0+
  • Be detail-oriented, reliable, creative and mature
  • Be able to take initiative when necessary
  • Have excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills


What to Expect:



  • We will be conducting interviews beginning in March
  • Our intention is to extend an offer for this opportunity by mid-April
  • Interns will join the team on May 18th and conclude their experience on August 8th

    • Possibility of part-time internship extension based on performance

Work Location: This position will have a Remote schedule. Preferred candidates will reside in the Eastern Time Zone so as to be able to work a 32.5 hour work week, Monday through Friday (8:30A - 5:00P EST) with every Friday afternoon off! Qualified candidates must have reliable internet service, professional discipline and have excellent time management skills.

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy. ACR's goal is to pay competitively and equitably. Interns work a 32.5 hour work week remotely, from 5/18/26 - 8/7/26, with every Friday afternoon off! Depending on class level, a reasonable estimate of the hourly compensation range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00.
