Job Title: Retail Customer Service Representative

Location: Anniston, AL 36201 (Onsite job)

Duration: 12+ months (Possible Extension)

Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST



Pay Range: $20/hr. - $21/hr.



Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Representative with experience to deliver exceptional service and drive sales of equipment and appliances. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, knowledgeable about retail products and services, and skilled in building long-term customer relationships while supporting company sales and marketing initiatives.



Key Responsibilities



  • Provide the highest level of customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding equipment and appliances, offering informed recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
  • Promote and sell retail goods and services in alignment with company sales goals.
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional strategies by effectively communicating offers and product benefits to customers.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Escalate complex or high-level complaints to management for immediate attention.
  • Process product replacements and assist customers with returns or exchanges when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store presentation standards.



Qualifications



  • 5-10 years of retail customer service experience, preferably in equipment and appliance sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to upsell and recommend products effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools.
