*Schedule:* Monday-Friday, Morning Shift *Pay Rate:* $23-$25/hr *Contract:* 5Month Contract-to-Hire (Permanent Opportunity) Our esteemed client-a global, specialized supply chain integrator serving the *Aerospace, Defense, Rail, and HighTech industries*-is expanding rapidly and seeking a *Logistics Client Support Specialist* to join their team in Bethpage, NY. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customercentric environment, enjoys managing complex logistics workflows, and is eager to grow into a longterm career opportunity. *About the Role* The Logistics Client Support Specialist manages a portfolio of customers with the goal of delivering exceptional service throughout every stage of the order lifecycle. This position plays a key role in supporting distribution material sales, executing RFQ followups, and ensuring performance targets are met in alignment with objectives set by the Vice President of Sales. *Key Responsibilities* * Manage customer *Requests for Quotations (RFQs)* by analyzing requirements, checking stock availability, reviewing purchasing contracts, and referencing prior supplier requests. * Prepare customer offers based on the best supply source as determined by Procurement (certifications, pricing, lead time). * Conduct RFQ followup activities, including email communication, phone calls, videoconferences, and occasional customer visits. * Build and maintain strong, sustainable customer relationships by providing clear product and order information, including explaining complex technical details. * Proactively address customer complaints and coordinate resolutions with internal teams (Quality & Compliance, Finance, Operations, etc.). * Monitor daily KPIs-Sales, Margin, Bookings, OTIF %, Order Book, and more-using BI tools such as Qlik, and implement corrective actions when needed. * Support additional duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of the company. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * Ability to critically review and interpret technical product specifications. * Experience monitoring performance targets through BI tools. * Strong proficiency in *MS Office*, especially *Excel*. * Handson experience with *SAP* and *Salesforce*. * Working knowledge of quality audit processes and Quality Management Systems. * Market awareness within supply chain, aerospace, or related industries is a plus. *Employee Value Proposition* Once converted to permanent status, employees receive: * *Fully paid benefits* * *Three weeks of PTO* * Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding global organization *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethpage, NY. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
