*PFS Analyst (Physician Billing) - Revenue Cycle Services* *Location:* Remote (Must reside in Indiana)
*Contract Length:* 6 Months *Pay:* $16/hr *Schedule:* Flexible start between 6:00-9:00 AM (8hour shift) Are you skilled at navigating the complex world of medical billing, insurance claims, and physician revenue cycles? Do you enjoy investigative work, digging into claim issues, and securing timely reimbursements? This *PFS Analyst* opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a large, fastpaced revenue cycle team supporting multiple healthcare entities across Indiana-all from the comfort of home. *About the Role* As a PFS Analyst, you'll play a key role in the financial health of the organization by ensuring claims are processed, followed up on, and resolved accurately and efficiently. This is a *productionbased, transactional role* where detailorientation and persistence are essential. You will work within multiple billing and claims platforms, research unpaid accounts, determine root causes, and take all necessary steps to secure payment from thirdparty payers. *What You'll Do* * Conduct followup on outstanding insurance claims * Analyze claim denials and determine required next steps * Submit appeals, correct claims, and perform recovery actions * Review accounts in multiple systems to identify why claims are unpaid * Manage provider enrollment tasks * Maintain charge description master and fee schedule updates * Support thirdparty followup and cash posting processes * Assist with audit defense and patient collections when needed * Navigate payer portals, EMRs, and billing platforms * Work within up to *five systems at a time*, including billing programs, claims software, payer websites, and Cerner * Deliver accurate, timely resolution of A/R for assigned accounts *Software You'll Learn (Training Provided)* You'll receive *4-6 weeks of training* (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) on tools that may include: * GI Centricity * Cerner * IDX * SMS * Medicaid portals * Search America * Various insurance websites No prior experience with these systems is required-full training is provided. *Why This Role Stands Out* * Entirely *remote* position (Indiana residents only) * Excellent footinthedoor opportunity within a large healthcare system * Strong work culture where employees feel supported and valued * Exposure to numerous revenue cycle functions * Great for candidates seeking career pathways in billing, coding, or insurance reimbursement * Ideal for newly certified billing/coding graduates seeking handson experience *What We're Looking For* *Must Have* * 1+ year of medical office or healthcare experience * Experience handling health insurance, deductibles, copays, or medical terminology * Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously * Strong research, problemsolving, and prioritization skills *Preferred* * 1+ year of *medical billing* experience * Graduates of medical billing or coding programs *Work Environment* * Fully remote production environment * Highvolume, transactional workload * Team of 100+ revenue cycle professionals * Must reside in *Indiana* to be eligible for future permanent opportunities *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
