As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a professional office location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and tenants with clear, respectful communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following post orders, site-specific policies, and Allied Universal procedures, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe onsite activity, reporting irregular conditions and/or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical calls for service, and/or alarms as directed.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate updates to site contacts and/or supervisors, and assist with security-related requests from property management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
