If you've got sharp eyes and take pride in doing it right, this Quality Control Technician job in Winchester has your name on it. You'll inspect, measure, and make sure every product meets the mark before it hits the floor.

What It Takes to Keep Quality Strong

• Education:High school diploma or GED (associate's degree preferred).
• Experience:5 years of related quality inspection experience (including 2 years operating and programming CMMs).Non-destructive testingLevel1 certificationand/or ASQ Certified Quality Technician preferred.
• Detail Drive: You've got an eye that doesn't miss a thing.
• On-the-Line Ready: Lift, move, and stay active through long shifts.
• Mindset: Solid teammate with pride in quality and a get-it-done attitude.

On the Floor, Every Shift

• Program and operate QC Lab Equipment, including the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), to measure and document part characteristics per control plans.
• Set up and manage the computerized SPC system, train operators on data collection, and report results as required.
• Oversee non-destructive and contamination testing processes; develop work instructions and train QC Inspectors.
• Create and maintain training plans, certification programs, and competency records for inspectors.
• Support scrap reduction efforts through data collection, analysis, andcountermeasurerecommendations.
• Provide backup support for QC inspection functions, including Receiving Inspection and Gage Calibration.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company policies and quality standards.
