Tomorrow.io's Government Business Development team enables nations and public institutions to manage risk faster than the speed of weather.

We work with governments and public-sector stakeholders to modernize operations, ensure safety, and build long-term resilience through next-generation weather, climate, and operational intelligence.

As Director of Government Sales - LATAM, you will lead Tomorrow.io's public-sector growth strategy across Latin America. You will drive partnerships with national governments, civil protection agencies, and infrastructure authorities, advancing regional modernization through weather and ocean forecasting systems. You will own the full sales cycle, from market shaping and strategy to execution and quota attainment, while representing Tomorrow.io at the highest levels of government and international institutions.


What you'll do:

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle across the LATAM region, from prospecting to closing multi-year public-sector contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior government officials, ministers, and heads of national agencies.
  • Lead channel and partner management, driving growth in priority LATAM markets.
  • Manage RFPs, tenders, and donor-funded programs involving organizations such as the World Bank, IDB, regional development banks, etc.
  • Represent Tomorrow.io at major regional government and industry events throughout Latin America.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to tailor weather and climate solutions for regional operations, including coastal and disaster management infrastructure.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets for the region.
  • Travel up to 25% (domestic and international) to meet with customers, partners, and government stakeholders


What you bring:

  • 10+ years of government or institutional sales experience.
  • Language Fluency: Native or professional fluency in Spanish and English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is highly valued.
  • Proven success selling to public-sector customers, ideally in SaaS, data, or tech solutions.
  • Regional Expertise: Deep knowledge of LATAM government procurement processes and modernization programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex public tenders and donor-funded initiatives.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with government and international organizations.
  • Consistent record of quota achievement and data-driven pipeline management.
  • Growth Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up or growth-stage environment.
  • Mission Focus: Self-motivated, strategic, and execution-oriented, with strong ownership and mission focus.
