As a VP People Partner, you will serve as a critical strategic advisor and executive leader, directly shaping the People agenda for a key Nokia Business Group or Function. This is the most senior People role within the assigned organization, reporting directly to the Group Chief People Officer and serving as a core member of the Nokia's People Leadership Team. You will be instrumental in translating Nokia's overall People strategy into actionable plans that foster a high-performance culture and ensure organizational capabilities to achieve ambitious strategic objectives of Nokia.

The Global Sales and Customer Operations (GSCO) organization is focused on driving growth by delivering a seamless experience for Nokia's customers globally and leveraging the strength and differentiation of our portfolio. As VP People Partner for GSCO, you will be instrumental in building and nurturing a world-class customer-centric organization. Your role will involve developing People strategies that enhance sales effectiveness, co-innovation with customers, relationship management, and the overall customer journey, ensuring the GSCO organization is equipped with the talent and capabilities to accelerate growth and strengthen Nokia's market position.

As VP People Partner, you will define, champion, and execute the strategic People agenda for your assigned Function, advising its President and Leadership Team on all People-related strategic topics. You will be accountable for aligning the Nokia People strategy with the specific priorities and unique needs of your business area.

  • Strategic People Leadership: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the Function leader and Leadership Team, anticipating People-related needs and developing an integrated, aligned, and forward-looking People strategy that directly supports business objectives.
  • Organizational Capability & Design: Lead and orchestrate complex organization design and development initiatives, ensuring the Function possesses the optimal organizational capability, structure, and talent pipeline to deliver on its mandate and strategic goals.
  • Culture & Engagement: Act as a primary custodian and architect of the Function's culture, ensuring it is aligned with Nokia's overarching culture and values and fosters an environment of high performance, innovation, and psychological safety.
  • Partnership & Collaboration: Cultivate collaboration and leverage strategic partnerships across the Function, global People Organization and other corporate functions to deliver value-adding solutions and services that reflect the strategic objectives of the Function.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Champion and drive the development of executive and senior leadership talent, succession planning, and critical capability building programs to ensure a robust leadership pipeline and future-ready workforce.
  • Global People Initiatives: Lead the strategic deployment, localization, and effective implementation of all global People initiatives within the Function, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards
  • Transformation and innovation: Proactively challenge organizational status quo and ways of working, drive broad based process optimization and adoption of AI in People Organization, and other improvements based on data-driven insights and a deep understanding of business dynamics.
  • Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Drive lean and cost-optimized activities, proactively identify and implement strategies to drive potential organizational efficiencies and cost savings ensuring alignment with Nokia's overall financial objectives.
  • Performance & Reward: Oversee the strategic application of performance management, reward, and recognition frameworks to drive accountability, motivate talent, and ensure competitive compensation practices within the Function.
  • Proven extensive executive-level expertise in strategic People Business Partnering within a large, complex, global technology, telecommunications organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner and advisor to C-suite executives and senior leadership teams.
  • Exceptional experience in leading and executing complex organization design, development, and change management initiatives at a global scale.
  • Deep understanding of talent development best practices, including executive development, succession planning, and capability building frameworks.
  • Expertise in linking business strategy to People strategies, with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes through People initiatives.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, influence at the highest levels, and lead through ambiguity and significant organizational transformation.
  • Strong command of relevant project management methodologies for large-scale People programs.
