Discovering your exciting role
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products/services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives, resolve quality-related issues, and drive continuous process improvements throughout the organization.

* Promote and continuously reinforce a culture where safety and quality are paramount.
* Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
* Analyze product/service failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
* Provide direction to a team of Quality Technicians to meet daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish quality standards and specifications for new products/services.
* Perform quality audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality procedures and guidelines.
* Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test procedures, inspection reports, and quality manuals.
* Participate in design reviews and provide input on product/service design for manufacturability and quality.
* Train employees in quality standards, processes, and procedures.
* Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and implement effective solutions.
* Work with supply chain on the permanent corrective action and disposition of all purchased non-conforming material.
* Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Stay current with industry trends, developments, and regulations related to quality management.

Show your expertise

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field is strongly preferred.
* Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g., ASQ CQE) is a plus.
* Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role within manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Hands-on experience with quality assurance tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.).
* Experience with metrology and calibration systems.
* Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

* Sit and work on a computer for potentially long periods of time.

* Safety glasses, ear protection, steel/composite toed shoes, and other required PPE must be worn in the production areas.
* May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
