Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Documents data standards, rules, process flows, and valid values for all master data fields.
  • Manages change requests, document changes, and communicate changes to all process team, divisions, and interested parties.
  • Develops, reviews, supports, and conducts training classes relating to data governance.
  • Designs, develops, implements, manages and has ownership of Cencora standards/templates of departmental technical tools.
  • Defines, develops and maintains data security access standards and control to fulfil audit requirements.
  • Monitors data cleansing projects in preparation for final data conversions. Conducts data quality audits and initiate corrective actions to ensure data quality in a post-go live environment.
  • Answers end user questions and aid end users in creating and changing material master data.
  • Ensure sufficient key data elements are in place to support quality audits. Originates and assists with all data related training requirements.
  • Proactively advises the data owners and users of potential improvements in the systems processes with a view to improving efficiency and good governance.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelors Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years related and progressively responsible experience with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in distribution.
  • Deep knowledge of master data management and processes within a Pharmaceutical Consultant business model.
  • Solid understanding of the integration aspects of various Cencora systems and terminology; and in-depth knowledge of data and information governance methodologies are required skills in this role.
  • Additionally, experience and understanding of Cencora's Service Lines and the types of services/products created, including business-specific functional roles is required.
  • Exposure and experience to data governance concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • Successful track record on cross-functional team projects is desired.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacts with all levels of associates and management within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of business principles, processes and technology
  • Understanding of sales, finance, warehousing, and/or purchasing concepts and how they inter-relate
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple things at one time
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Change Agent High energy with a positive outlook and can-do attitude
  • Self-starter/motivator, goal oriented
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
