The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Lead Engineer, Quality Operating Systems to join our San Luis Obispo, CA facility.

The position will lead the development and improvement of our qualitysystemprocesses, inspire cross-functional teams, and champion operational excellence in a dynamic,face-paced environment.Yourexpertisein quality systemsandprocess optimizationwill drive meaningfulchangein how quality is defined and achieved at Entegris, enabling the manufacturing ofadvancedsemiconductor devices around the world.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive qualitymanagement systemimprovement atthe EntegrisSan Luis Obispo, CAfacilityin partnership withOperations, Quality,and Engineeringas a member ofthe North AmericaQuality Operating Systems teamatEntegris.
  • Identify,diagnose,and propose solutions toquality system needsat San Luis Obispothroughcollaborative discussion with cross-functionalteam members, reviewof metrics/KPIs,internal audits/assessments,hands-on observations, andstructuredproblem-solvingtools.
  • Guide cross-functional leaders,processowners, and corrective action (CAPA)assigneesin theirquality system journey, empowering them to adopt best practices andraisequality managementsystem(QMS)maturity.
  • Leadquality systemaudit activities includingconductinginternalQMSauditsacross North AmericaandcoordinatingsiteISO 9001, customer, and regulatory auditsat San Luis Obispo.
  • Lead and/orcontribute toglobal quality system projectsto increase processperformanceandelevate quality standards acrossEntegrisworldwide.
  • Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values).

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree inChemical,Mechanical,orElectricalEngineering or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentwithsignificantinvolvement in Quality Management System, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering activities.
  • Passionand history of success incollaborativeproblem-solvingto drive continuous improvement.
  • Stronginitiative, organizational skills, and follow-through.
  • Ability tocommunicate clearly,build relationships,andinfluence cross-functional teams.
  • Experienceworking with colleagues virtually.
  • Working knowledge of engineering tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D Problem Solving,Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA),Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 orsimilarstandards(IATF 16959, AS9100, ISO 13485)preferred.
  • Lead Internal auditor experience and/or certificationpreferred.

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000 range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
