Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Luckey, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol key areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a retail distribution and warehouse location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving and relaying radio communications and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, dock doors, yard and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
• Support access control and visitor management by monitoring entrances, checking identification when required, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing drivers, vendors and associates according to site procedures.
• Complete written and electronic reports, including shift activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations that may help to deter theft, damage and/or unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
