What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control policies, including directing visitors and employees to the appropriate check-in process.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary credentials as authorized, and maintaining required access logs.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems to identify irregular activity and report concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas and exterior perimeters, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas for compliance with posted security-related requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
