As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering helpful customer service and clear communication to shoppers and staff. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and fire or alarm conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or hazard concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points, back-of-house corridors, and receiving areas, assisting with visitor direction and observing for suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete reports for incidents, patrols, and customer service contacts, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and location leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
