Security Guard - Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will complete routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access points and visitor flow as needed. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will deliver helpful customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while living Allied Universal values of integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with employee and vendor check-in processes in accordance with site policy.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate noteworthy conditions and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
