Ready to work as a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate in Libertyville? This gig is for folks who like staying busy, working with a crew, and making sure freight keeps moving in and out without a hitch.

Your Role on the Floor

• Perform all shipping and receiving functions in accordance with established procedures and documentation requirements
• Receive customer product by unloading containers, breaking down pallets, identifying box weights, and processing required paperwork accurately
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or count discrepancies, and ensure proper reporting and resolution
• Stage, transfer, and prepare product for shipment; generate accurate shipping documentation and load trailers or coordinate small parcel shipments
• Maintain warehouse reports identifying product locations and ensure shipments meet required deadlines
• Coordinate with transportation personnel, vendors, and internal teams to support on-time delivery
• Assist with material handling activities to ensure the timely receipt and shipment of product
• Maintain aged inventory levels in collaboration with production, planning, and quality teams
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including sit-down forklift and yard truck, to move materials and trailers safely

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to become licensed to operate a forklift and a yard truck
• Ability to navigate warehouse management and operational data systems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with Level 2 math proficiency (decimals, ratios, percentages, charts)
• High attention to detail and data accuracy (Receiving Reports, Bills of Lading, etc.)
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under general supervision
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (most lifting assisted by equipment)
• Ability to alternate between standing and sitting throughout the shift (approximately 50/50)
