Overview

Primary focus will be technical sales support by demonstrating instrument and software capabilities for Biomolecule applications to existing and prospective customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in protein and peptide characterization and biopharmaceutical analysis techniques.



Responsibilities

* Conduct sophisticated chromatography and mass spectrometry instrument demonstrations in the laboratory to potential customers in support of the sales process.
* Perform Biomolecule type applications and method development. A strong emphasis on the analysis of intact protein, peptides, RNA and DNA.
* In depth knowledge of MassLynx, waters_connect, ProteinLynx, and Progenesis QIP software used for the interpretation of the above application types.
* Provide in-depth technical support and training to customers and company personnel. Support product development by successfully working with software and hardware production teams. Develop training materials in order to educate and ensure customer success with Waters products.
* Primary focus will be technical sales support by demonstrating instrument and software capabilities for Biomolecule applications to existing and prospective customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in protein and peptide characterization techniques.
* The desired experience would include but not limited to, intact protein mass analysis; Top down and bottom up protein sequencing: carbohydrate profiling; analysis of RNA and DNA. Provide in-depth technical and application support for customers. Represent the company at external scientific meetings where company expertise is required. Present scientific data at external scientific meetings. Operate and maintain Waters mass spectrometers and chromatography instrumentation. Provide method development in applying ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray time of flight. Provide scientific data for technical publication and marketing purposes. Participate in critical product development



Qualifications

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or related field with at least five to eight years of experience in job related field of Liquid Chromatography (LC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) in Biomolecule MS applications.

Ph.D Prefered with five years in a related field.
