These are the qualifications that matter.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related field
• 5+ years of cable assembly experience
• 5+ years of production supervisor or leadership experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong internal and external relationship-building ability
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
• Effective time management, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrated alignment with the company's core values

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow internal cable assembly capacity to support business needs
• Supervise assigned personnel and support team development
• Develop and maintain the internal cable build schedule in collaboration with the master scheduler and cable buyer
• Support urgent cable rework requirements as needed
• Own and drive on-time delivery performance for internal cable builds
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of cable assembly processes
• Build cable prototypes when necessary to maintain hands-on expertise and provide feedback to engineering
• Serve as liaison to sustaining engineering to ensure appropriate technical support
• Coordinate receipt of cable kits from the warehouse and return of completed product
• Investigate and implement industry best practices to improve quality and productivity
• Escalate material shortages to purchasing to prevent production delays
• Assist in other production areas as directed by the Production Manager
• Ensure all work activities align with the company's Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, System Procedures, and Work Instructions
