Department Summary The Innovation and Commercialization unit within the Division of Research & Innovation, empowers researchers to transform discoveries into products, services, and companies. The team provides university researchers with services to support navigating the intellectual property and patent processes, development of licensing agreements with strategic industry partners, mentorship in creating startups and pursuing entrepreneurship, and administering commercialization education programs that help forge paths from academic innovation to real-world application. Position Overview The Senior Licensing Analyst supports the development, negotiation, and management of intellectual property (IP) licensing agreements. Working under the supervision of the Director Innovation & Commercialization, this role assists in evaluating and marketing technologies, supporting commercialization strategies, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires expertise in negotiation and management of IP licensing agreements and portfolios, and the marketing and commercialization of patented technologies to external partners. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, science, engineering, law, or a related field and five (5) years of professional experience in licensing, technology transfer, or business development; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
