As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading tech and telecom data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, processing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, loading and delivery areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communications systems, document unusual activity, and complete shift reports and other required documentation per site-specific policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
