What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, crew members, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, hangars, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in written reports, complete patrol logs, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
