As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an armed patrol officer, helping maintain a welcoming environment through routine patrols, high visibility presence, and clear communication with tenants, visitors, and property teams. You will respond to incidents, document security-related activity, and support access control and emergency response as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring deliveries and contractors, and directing visitors according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting assistance from supervisors and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Carry and handle assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and post orders, completing required reports for incidents, patrol activity, and unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associates degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
