Job Description




As a Security Officer - Main Reception Sentinel in Moorestown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and guests, verify identification, manage access control and badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. You will be a steady, customer-focused presence that helps to deter incidents while supporting a smooth lobby experience. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific access procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control entry by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with location requirements.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned, and report irregular conditions, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when directed by procedure.
  • Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and access records, and communicate key information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
