As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, utility location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and/or escalation per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility areas, buildings, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by monitoring gates, doors, and designated entry points, verifying authorization, and directing visitors and/or contractors according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintain patrol logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
