As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and checks, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge activity as needed. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver clear communication and customer service with patients, visitors, and staff while living Allied Universal values through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned areas including entrances, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity; greet and direct visitors, assist with wayfinding, and communicate visitor-related concerns to site contacts per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching calls for service, assisting with de-escalation support, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation; communicate with site personnel and/or public responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital site requires vaccines.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
