As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will focus on access control by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and managing entry and exit points to help support smooth operations. You will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide clear customer service at every interaction while using computers and/or tablets for reporting. You will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at building and/or vehicle gates by verifying identification, authorizations, and deliveries; issue temporary credentials as directed and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and camera feeds to identify potential security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized entry; document observations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as needed and completing detailed incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter points to check doors, gates, and restricted areas for security-related issues and report maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
