Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Driver in La Quinta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control points, and assist residents and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, community rules, and access requirements.
• Conduct regular and random mobile and/or foot patrols of residential streets, amenities, and perimeter areas; observe for unusual activity, property concerns, and/or maintenance issues and report as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to post orders.
• Monitor entry points and common areas as assigned; verify credentials, issue visitor instructions, and/or direct traffic and parking as needed.
• Complete required reports, logs, and/or activity checks; communicate with dispatch, on-site management, and/or local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
