As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and document security-related activity while providing clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors and employees by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, logging arrivals and departures, and directing visitors to designated areas.
• Document routine activities and unusual events in written reports and/or electronic logs, including incidents, inspections, and patrol findings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
