As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Walker in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify authorization where required, and document entries, exits and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, and initiate site-specific emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations and incident response, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
