Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:




  • Completed an accredited master'slevel program with a graduate degree in a humanservice field such as social work, clinical counseling, or psychology
  • Completed a minimum oneyear clinical internship.
  • CADC, CRS, or MATrelated training-are preferred


  • This clinician provides integrated mentalhealth and substanceuse treatment for individuals with cooccurring disorders, requiring strong skills in assessment, counseling, and evidencebased interventions. The role demands knowledge of DSM5 diagnostics, substanceuse treatment models, crisismanagement strategies, and the ability to facilitate individual and group therapy while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Clinicians are expected to uphold ethical standards, practice traumainformed and culturally competent care, engage in supervision and ongoing training, and support program goals with professionalism and flexibility. The D/A CoOccurring Clinician is also responsible for facilitating structured drugandalcohol group sessions that incorporate evidencebased practices, relapseprevention strategies, psychoeducation, and therapeutic skillbuilding to support clients in their recovery.

We are seeking a Fee For Service Drug and Alcohol Clinican to join our team in our Colmar, PA location.



Earn: $35-$38/hour



Position Details



A D/A CoOccurring Clinician provides comprehensive substanceuse treatment within Merakey's clinicbased behavioral health program, serving as a key member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. In addition to delivering integrated care for individuals with cooccurring mentalhealth and substanceuse disorders, the clinician provides therapeutic services including individual, couple, and family therapy; conducts intake and diagnostic assessments; facilitates group therapy-including structured drugandalcohol groups using evidencebased practices, relapseprevention strategies, psychoeducation, and skillbuilding; and coordinates care with the clinic director, psychiatrist, and clinical supervisor. The clinician actively engages clients, supports ongoing participation in treatment, and delivers clinically appropriate interventions for individuals experiencing mild to severe mentalhealth conditions while maintaining accurate documentation, practicing traumainformed and culturally competent care, and upholding ethical and professional standards.
