Job Description




As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will greet associates and visitors, manage badges and entry points, and help maintain smooth, professional traffic flow. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and help to deter incidents through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, contractors, and delivery drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
  • Staff access control points to verify identification, issue and/or track visitor badges, confirm authorization for entry, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments by checking driver credentials, reviewing bills of lading and/or shipping paperwork, and documenting trailer, seal, and vehicle information per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, completing incident documentation, and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter while monitoring for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
