Position Overview

The Retail Sales Associate - Kitchens and Appliances is responsible for assisting customers with selecting home furnishing products and providing expert guidance on kitchen and appliance solutions. This role ensures a positive shopping experience by maintaining an organized and well-stocked sales floor, assembling display products, and supporting overall store operations. The position requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized retail environment.

  Assist customers in selecting kitchen and appliance products that best meet their home needs

  Provide product knowledge and recommendations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions

  Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor to enhance the customer shopping experience

  Guide customers toward featured, top-selling, and prioritized products

  Assemble and set up display products for new product introductions

  Maintain warehouse and storage areas to ensure products are organized and accessible

  Ensure products are properly priced and displayed on shelves

  Support general store operations and collaborate with team members to maintain store standards

  Provide a professional and friendly customer service experience at all times

  
  

Job Requirements

• 
  

  Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector

  
  
• 
  

  Strong customer service and communication skills

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to organize merchandise and maintain attractive product displays

  
  
• 
  

  Basic product assembly skills for store displays

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  
  Responsibilities include keeping areas of responsibility clean and tidy, removing cardboard, merchandising, condensing pallets, flexing and fronting shelves, removing damaged merchandise from the sales floor, collecting abandoned merchandise for sorting, conducting go back sweeps, close collaboration with markethall coworkers and shopkeepers, and other duties as assigned.
