Engineer I

JOB TITLE: Engineer I, Highways

WORKSITE LOCATION: Richmond, VA

JOB DUTIES:

Design and analysis of road horizontal and vertical alignments and pavements. Prepare and revise plans, profiles, cross sections, typical sections, and detail sheets. Design temporary traffic control plans, sidewalks, and ramps. Calculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimates. Handle side slope grading and maximize cuts and fills. Work with other disciplines on creative solutions to design challenges.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
