Let's Redefine Possible Project Name: Wellsburg Repower Wind Project Project Location: Wellsburg, IA 50680 SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter that will be responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principals. RESPONSIBILITIES Set up trailers Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements and measure dimensions Build decks, stairs, roofs, temporary structures, install shelves, set up tool trailers/conex's, silt fences/straw bales, and site per erosion control plan Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms Assist journeyman and foreman with shooting grades and elevations Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials Concrete and rough carpentry: hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks, drywall, finish carpentry (doors, frames, hardware), millwork, cabinetry Work effectively and build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Perform all other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Maintain accuracy and precision Communicate effectively in English Strong teamwork and positive attitude Detail-oriented with active listening skills Professional customer service and openness to feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
