The Vice President, Finance for Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), is the enterprise finance leader partnering with the Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer to set global strategy and drive the financial performance across operations. This role orchestrates our supply chain finance agenda, including Safety-Quality-Delivery-Cost-Cash scorecards, footprint optimization, factory automation ROI, risk & resiliency, and sustainability economics. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Enterprise Strategic Financial Leadership
Co-author the enterprise ISC multiple-year strategic plan and AOP in collaboration with the CSCO, segment ISC Vice Presidents, and segment Finance CFOs. Sponsor scaling of manufacturing automation with ROI to prioritize investment cases. Advise senior management on capital allocation, investment priorities, and long-range planning, including financial due diligence for potential acquisitions. Own and evolve unified ISC analytics architecture (dashboards, KPIs, scorecards), ensure ISC financial reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable for ELT, Board, Segment CFOs.
Cost Management & Productivity
Develop an ISC productivity roadmap and drive enterprise productivity targets across the supply chain with clear KPIs, cadence, and recovery actions. Evolve frameworks to evaluate the best total cost beyond just unit price, including logistics, tariffs, and storage. Partner with sourcing to deliver consistent year-over-year cost improvements. Partner with logistics to review inbound and outbound logistics costs and shipping methods to optimize for both speed and profitability. In collaboration with our transformation PMO, optimize the procure-to-pay process to improve payment terms and capture early payment discounts Inventory & Integrated Business Planning (SIOP). Accelerate working capital velocity, shift the focus from simple inventory reduction to inventory optimization, ensuring stock levels reflect margin contribution and risk tolerance. Ensure finance and operations work from a "shared source of truth" for demand forecasting to reduce forecast error. Partner with the SIOP team to develop enterprise SIOP processes and link to financial planning.
Risk, Resiliency & Sustainability Economics
Play a key role in the financial management of governance activities, i.e., geographic and compliance risks like trade regulations, tariffs, critical components, quality, EHS, and supplier performance within the enterprise risk scorecard. Support dual sourcing and contingency planning. Oversee financial disclosure readiness for climate-related risks and reporting requirements related to risks.
Leadership & Talent
Build and develop a high-performing Supply Chain Finance team across the Enterprise. Role model nVent Leadership Competencies - Strategic Thinking, Managing Execution, Drive for Results, Leading Courageously, Building Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity. Manage change and lead organizational transformation initiatives. Lead and partner in creating our internal succession bench, conduct talent discussions, and develop the organization.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. 15+ years progressive finance leadership, with deep Supply Chain and Operations finance, and multi-plant and global exposure. Proven leadership of integrated business planning and SIOP finance, scenario planning, and cost-to-serve analytics; history of translating policy decisions into P&L, cash, and capital outcomes. Demonstrated success in funding and scaling operations and Industry 4.0 programs with measurable ROI. Expert in working capital management with track record reducing DIOH and DSO and cash culture capability building. Fluency with a multi-ERP landscape, advanced planning and analytics, and AI applications. Successful leadership of diverse teams across matrix organizations, with proven talent advancement. Experience in different sub-functions of Finance is a plus.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $241,500.00 - $359,000.00
