Security Officer - Warehouse Gate Patrol

As a Security Officer - Warehouse Gate Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, support access control and badge checks, and document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will stay highly visible, respond to calls for service, and deliver professional customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and observe incoming and outgoing traffic, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, and/or service requests, and communicate updates to supervisors and on-site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
