Summary:

The SAP Functional Analyst supports daytoday SAP operations by assisting with system configuration, troubleshooting issues, and documenting processes under the guidance of senior team members. This role helps maintain reliable SAP performance, collaborates with business users to understand basic operational needs, and contributes to smallscale enhancements and integration activities. The analyst is expected to learn SAP best practices, develop functional knowledge across modules, and support the team in improving efficiency and ensuring smooth business operations.

Essential Duties:



  • Provide firstlevel, crossfunctional SAP Helpdesk support, including:

    • Unlocking and resetting SAP user accounts
    • Supporting SAP onboarding activities, including creation of new SAP users
    • Troubleshooting reported issues and assisting with basic problem resolution
    • Making limited SAP configuration changes where appropriate
    • Working directly with end users to resolve or respond to SAP business process issues
    • Escalating tickets to senior functional analysts when necessary


  • Clearly communicating related business process flows to both technical and nontechnical users
  • Work independently on assigned tasks while also contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of SAP configuration and/or SAP security and role maintenance; willingness and ability to learn new skills is required
  • Utilize SAP queries and/or report writer/report painter tools when applicable; foundational knowledge is a plus

    • Assist with activities across various SAP functional areas and support projectrelated tasks, including:
    • Creating userfriendly training documentation
    • Working with data cleansing or data loading tools such as Winshuttle (preferred)




Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:



  • BS/BA or AD Degree in IT or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years SAP experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities along with analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime and travel when necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees and managers at all levels within the company
  • Demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)


This position requires access to or use of export-controlled technical data or technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
