Position Overview Lead and manage cloud cost optimization projects, and oversee the management of security vulnerabilities and security initiatives, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources, minimizing costs, and maximizing return on investment while maintaining a secure cloud environment. What You'll Do: Project Management: Lead and manage multiple cloud cost optimization and security vulnerabilities management projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Cost Optimization: Analyze current cloud usage and spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement best practices for cloud cost management, including rightsizing resources, selecting appropriate pricing models, and optimizing cloud architecture. Monitor and report on cloud spending, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Security Vulnerabilities Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities in cloud environments. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Ensure regular security audits and assessments are conducted to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Provide training and support to teams on security best practices and vulnerability management. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align cloud cost optimization and security strategies with organizational objectives. Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and other stakeholders. Provide training and support to teams on cloud cost management and security practices. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations related to cloud usage, cost management, and security. Develop and enforce governance frameworks to manage cloud costs and security effectively. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud cost optimization and security vulnerabilities management. Drive innovation by exploring new tools and techniques to enhance cloud cost efficiency and security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
