Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Technician for Electronics Assembly. This position will include automatic pick and place operation, rework, hand soldering, and visual inspection of assemblies. This may include cleanliness testing of finished assemblies and conformal coating/staking and interfacing with engineering, stockroom, and manufacturing specialists. Occasional overtime conditions may be requested with this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to see project though from start to finish
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and detail oriented
  • Ability to learn automated machine operation
  • Skilled at hand soldering and rework of electronic assemblies
  • Ability to pass IPC and NASA training to space level quality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel)
  • Comfortable with teamwork and communication within the team
*Salary Range
  • $42,000 - $67,000
    • Salary commensurate on education and relevant experience
