Job Description

General Summary:

The Supervisor, Facilities Operations role is responsible for critical GXP facilities operations and maintenance tasks and requirements. The Supervisor, Facilities Operations role supervises facilities technicians in addition to facilities contractors to ensure completion of work orders in the CMMS system.This role is also responsible for supervising the operations of all site utilities, mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs reactive and preventative facilities maintenance tasks and jobs generated from CMMS work order system.
  • Oversees staff facilities technicians and external facilities contractors in the execution of site maintenance and repair activities..
  • Performs and completes small facilities projects as needed.
  • Ensures daily facilities rounds and site maintenance are completed.
  • Responds to critical facilities infrastructure and systems alarms.
  • Monitors site building management system and environmental monitoring system.
  • Interfaces with area stakeholders on site.
  • Participates in quality management systems workflows, such as quality events, deviations, CAPAs.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity in all facilities trades; mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, HVAC or mastery in a specific trade.
  • Knowledge of GXP lab based systems and lab facility infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of fire and life safety systems, back-up generator, UPS power, building management system (BMS), environmental monitoring system(EMS).
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work around a facility in different work environments throughout the day.
  • Sufficient with good documentation practices(gDOCP).
  • Knowledge of cleanroom and CNC operations.
  • Sufficient with troubleshooting systems.
  • Good communication skills required.

Education and Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma required
  • Typically requires5 years of experience in facilities as a facilities technician, or a licensed trade professional and 1 year of supervisory/management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years experience in a GXP Environment

Pay Range:

$95,200 - $142,800

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
