Emerging Tech Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Lead and manage a variety of information technology projects including responsibilities for: requirements definition, research, recommendation, development and deployment of technology solutions. Directly involved in data analysis, compilation, recommendation and reporting as well as solutions development and deployment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

* Meets with business leaders and internal experts as well as external teams to analyze/define requirements, research options and recommends solutions, leads solution rfp/selection process and/or develop and implement technical solutions to address those requirements.

* Develops detailed understanding of Front Porch business functions across the operations of the family of companies. , Incoorporates this knowledge into solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business customers.

* Manages information technology projects and interdisciplinary project teams. Creates detailed project plans with milestones/timelinescoordinatesi multiple internal and external resources. Leads all aspects of the project team. Responsible for overall project performance and results including timelines, budgets and quality outcomes.

* Creates comprehensive technical and end user documentation to support and operationalize projects. Conducts the trainings and in-services to transition the day to day operation of the technology to the other IT team members and to end users.

* Provides Tier 3 support for operationalized solutions and assists information technology team members in issue resolution or maintenance of deployed solutions when requested.

* Knowledgeable and experienced with learning management systems, portals, crm systems, financial, billing and clinical systems, basic programming, dashboards, business objects and reporting systems including sql reporting tools, database design and management

* Maintains programming, data reporting, analytics and other project solutions on a daily basis until released to other teams and when requested.

* Maintains technical documentation for ongoing projects and deployed solutions.

* Communicates daily and weekly project updates internally to supervisor and other information technology members and as needed to external customers and partners.

* Requires frequent travel to Front Porch business locations across the state of CA to provide in person implementation, support, training and services.

* Knowledge of project estimating and budgeting.

* Ability to accomplish project deliverables on time and on budget

* Enterprise application implementation and training experience

* Working knowledge IT project management best practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* 7+ years IT business analyst experience

* 5+ years of project management experience.

* 5+ years of application implementation experience.

* 5+ years of experience with vendor management

* Bachelor's degree in business or computer science; or combination of training & relevant experience.

This person will be required to travel to one or more of Front Porch's business locations to perform installations, upgrades, training or support as necessary. Therefore, this individual must have his or her own reliable transportation for regional travel. In addition, he/she may be required to travel by plane or train to a remote business location to perform this work.
