Job Summary The HRIS Business Analyst is a highly proficient, high-performing contributor responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data within the Human Resources technology environment. This role supports the full HRIS platform and plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and alignment between business operations and technology solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, with demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and advanced PeopleSoft Query development, including designing, building, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex queries using effective logic, multiple table joins, expressions, prompts, subqueries, and aggregate functions to support operational reporting, compliance, and decision-making needs. Experience supporting or working with Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS) or similar cloud-based learning platforms is highly desirable, as this position translates business objectives and user needs into clear technical requirements and effectively communicates technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The HRIS Business Analyst collaborates closely with HR functional teams, IT partners, and external vendors to support system enhancements, automated integrations, upgrades, and process improvements. This role requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of HR data, both within on-premise systems and across third-party vendor integrations. The position requires experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and user training. The successful candidate demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and strict confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information. Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in human resources, business (any discipline or specialization), information technology (any specialization), public administration, or a related field, and two (2) years of business systems analysis experience, including business process design, business requirements definition, workflow documentation, and acceptance testing. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification, and directly related full-time work experience as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
