* Achieves an efficient technical infrastructure, which includes appropriate tools to support production migrations. Develops and supports Oracle databases, supports replication. Monitors and optimizes Oracle database performance and capacity planning. * Troubleshoots database issues; maintain database systems availability and scalability. Develops and optimizes database design for new applications. Develops and maintains jobs for monitoring and reporting various aspects of system performance, resource utilization, and application usage. * Develops and maintains scripts for automating database deployments and updates. Develops and maintains system and process documentation. * Performance tuning and troubleshooting complex issues. Ensures creation of runbooks in the assembly, configuration and administration of the application database. Enforces adherence to standards, policies, and procedures for managing databases. Implements/manages Database User Security standards. Subject Matter Expert for Oracle Infrastructure. Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
