Job Description

Pay Range: $98,200.00 - $122,750.00 per year.

Responsible for proper bird placements at ranch level, fryer ranch appearance, clean up/set up and costs for maintaining the ranches inside and out. Insuring proper rice hull and shaving deliveries and shipments. Responsible for all aspects of the Collier Warehouse to insure proper inventory controls, inventory and cost efficiencies. Insure that, through a well-trained staff of lead people, foreman and supervisors to meet requirements of the annual production schedule.

Includes:



  • Implementing and controlling field compliance with grow out, disease prevention, and quality programs.
  • Coordinating with and informing technical, personnel, administrative, service, and other managers of any information that could affect their decisions or influence bird performance.
  • Control inventories and cost at the collier warehouse as well as rice hull and shaving inventories for chicken and turkeys.
  • Maintain an efficient brooder crew that operates efficiently and safely. Includes maintaining promotable people on brooder crew with interest in advancement.
  • Manage clean up/set up of fryer ranch facilities, equipment, and landscaping. Includes vehicular, industrial safety, and maintenance awareness programs.
  • Maintain good inter-company, community and employer/employee relations.
  • Assist in the development and submission of proposals, budgets, and projections for fryer and production facilities and activities.
  • Additional Functions:
  • Responsible for an annual production cost budget of $60,000,000+.
  • Qualifications

  • Safety: FSQA audit scores, safety rates, and environmental compliance.
  • Operations: Yield efficiency, line efficiency, and labor management.
  • People: Retention, internal promotions, training, and team engagement.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor of Science degree in Animal science, Ag-business, or related field preferred.
  • Must have a minimum 3-5 years of production supervisory experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. Must have the ability to multi-task and change direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of basic accounting principles and solid knowledge of PC -Excel and Word.
  • Must be highly self-motivated, assertive, objective, resourceful, and work independently with little supervision.
  • Must have strong problem solving skills, sound judgment and critical thinking ability.
  • Must have a strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Must have and maintain a valid class C Driver's License and clean DMV record.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to follow and enforce all company guidelines and policies.
